'Monks, possessing five qualities a monk is duly2 cast into hell.
What five?
Herein a monk, faithless, unconscientious, reckless of blame, is indolent, is without insight.
Possessing these five a monk is duly cast into hell.

Monks, possessing five qualities a monk is duly set in heaven.
What five?
Herein a monk, faithful, conscientious, fearful of blame, is energetic, has insight.
Monks, possessing these five qualities a monk is duly set in heaven.
